We are currently looking for programmers for a horror game we are making.

Q: What is our game about?
A: We are making a horror game based in a school. The idea of the game is to escape the school whilst being chased after a killer clown.

Q: How old do I have to be?
A: Age doesn't matter! However, you need to be mature enough to talk to and work with other team members. We use a fantastic client called Slack which works perfectly with these type of projects. It is a messaging service so we do not need to voice call or video call you.

Q: Do I have to be experienced?
A: Yes, you do have to be experienced with C++ and UE4 (Unreal Engine 4). The reason being is that programming is very important and we need the best we can find!

Q: Why should I join?
A: If you join the project and help finish the final product, you will be able to add on/start a strong portfolio, learn new skills and if the product makes money, you will receive your fair share.
We are currently in between the stage of pre-production to production. We already have a few models prepared. We are also finishing off the final aspects of the storyline and mechanics etc.

Hi,

I'm currently employed in the UK but I consider travelling and staying in some other interesting countries. I was looking for websites with remote jobs for C# .NET software developers but I could mostly find jobs in the USA.

I expect that remote work would require staying in the same or similar time zone. What are your thought about finding remote jobs, e.g. living in Czech / Poland and working in the UK / Germany? Or about Asia, living in Cambodia / Laos / Vietnam / Thailand and working in Singapore / South Korea etc.?

Which specialities are more likely to be good career choice for working remotely? I work mostly with core .NET and Oracle/MS SQL technologies (development of libraries that contain complex business logic and are used as background processes, some Windows applications) but I thought about progressing towards web development (ASP.NET MVC) or alternatively financial services (software for hedge funds or investments banks).

Are companies in general considering remote workers? Do you think remote working can be major trend in the near future? Is it likely to convince company to permit full remote work, even if it's not posting job offers of this kind? Any other thought?

Responsibilities:

Define Code structure and development of software base along with the innovative physics developed. Creates class structures, methods and interfaces in accordance of the algorithms and mathematic models as well as the couplings needs. Develop bridges and wrappers for code couplings. All results to be documented accordingly.
Implement the couplings of ARDEMA aerodynamic code / ANSYS or ServoDyn/ BeamDyn, control command codes like ServoDyn and Hydrodynamics and moorings codes like Deeplines.
Maintain the repository of the code base & branches of the software for projects and cooperation with other Partners.
Optimize the structure of the codes; develop the inputs and outputs formats and compatibility layers/wrappers for coupled codes.
Translate easily parts of the codes from Matlab to C/C++ or Fortran 90.
Qualifications:

Strong experience with codes couplings. Experience with HPC codes applied to fluid dynamics would be an advantage Very strong experience in the following languages: C/C++ or Fortran 90, CUDA/OpenCL/Pyton and Matlab. Cross platform Linux and Windows strong abilities.
Strong background in mathematics and numerical methods interest/experience in developing algorithms.
Very good writing and communication skills.
Be able to interact well inside R&D projects understanding well both industrial needs and academic partners’ culture.
French Language skills desired, not essential.
This is a 3 year contract based in Northern France, with an excellent relocation package

I‘m looking for someone who may fix a problem I have with the DataViewRowState.
I’ll pay between 50 and 80 EUR(concidering the task needs 1 hour, at least 50, no matter if it taks just five minutes)

The one who cares about that, will get a mini Winform Project (VS2010 VB.NET). He might watch it a slong as he liks and finally we met us with teamviewer or any else. So he has access to my Lap.

Hello,


This is a quick post seeking an android developer (prefered if you can also develop for ios) to develop our app. We recently had a developer which started the android side of the app however wasnt able to complete the job which is why im here.

We currently have 36,000+ emails captured from interested users which are waiting on the release as well as 10k facebook likes from campaigns run in the past. We currently have everything designed and 45% of the app completed (in java).

We are offering a 8% contract for the work which is a fair amount, this is negotiable however will not change by much.

The app is a location based social media app (will be provided with more information once NDA is signed), one of its kind and we have a lot planned for its future however we can not move forward without the app itself at a halt.
